Whoa. Was that a Bond Girl presenting at the American Music Awards?
Nope. That was Screen Actors Guild and Emmy-nominated "Grey's Anatomy" hottie Kate Walsh, shaking and stirring in a sexy turquoise beaded dress by Jenny Packham, the designer who's done drop-dead duds for two Bond babes in "Die Another Day" and the new "Casino Royale."
London-based Packham has been dubbed "the first lady of partywear" by British Vogue. And she's got an impressive fan base that includes Keira Knightley, Nicole Kidman, Mandy Moore, Kate Moss, Mena Suvari, Brittany Murphy, Heidi Klum and Scarlett Johansson.
So don't be surprised if you see some of Packham's party dresses on the upcoming award season red carpets.
If her gowns are good enough for Bond, they're probably good enough for Oscar.

LOS ANGELES - Katherine Heigl has been on camera since she was 9 years old. But the flashbulbs have never been brighter than they are now that she stars on the hit ABC medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy.”
The 27-year-old blonde beauty, who plays Dr. Isobel “Izzie” Stevens, said she’s still adjusting to the challenges of overnight fame. But she’s digging the perks: One acting gig helped Heigl find her fiance, singer-songwriter Josh Kelley. She was hired to star in his music video, and the two ended up engaged.
Kelley was by Heigl’s side when she was feted recently by Cosmopolitan magazine. Editor Kate White hosted an intimate dinner for Heigl to celebrate her appearance on the December issue of Cosmopolitan. The actress’ manager mom and TV co-stars T.R. Knight and Kate Walsh were also on hand to toast Heigl’s success.

Make Nice on Grey's Anatomy

Despite the altercation that occurred last month on the set of "Grey's Anatomy" between Patrick Dempsey and Isaiah Washington, the series' Kate Walsh tells us the cast is still very supportive of each other.
"Everything is fine. I think people have a tendency to blow things way out of proportion, so it's already history for us," says Walsh of the blowup that took place when a slur-hurling Washington was reportedly sounding off to cast mate T.R. Knight for arriving late, and Dempsey intervened on Knight's behalf.
Most recently, the group had a lot to celebrate with the engagement of Ellen Pompeo to her boyfriend of three years, Chris Ivery. "We're just so happy. I can't wait to give them both a big kiss. They're great people," says Walsh. As for what to expect during the rest of the season, the actress, who plays Addison Montgomery, adds, "We've got lots of surprises coming. Just tune in!"

"Grey's Anatomy" star Kate Walsh took her dog for a walk on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles, while holding an ice pack to her face!
On the hit ABC hospidrama, Walsh plays Dr. Addison Montgomery-Shepherd, who happens to be right in the middle of a love triangle-plus-one with the show's main characters -- she's slept with both McDreamy and McSteamy. Maybe she had an on-set tussle that went too far? No, that would never happen on the set of "Grey's Anatomy." Oh, wait. Nevermind.

Kate Walsh looks like the picture of good health week after week in her role as Addison Shepherd on the hit ABC show Grey's Anatomy. The 39-year-old shares a few secrets to her svelte figure with Women's Health magazine this month.
On wearing a fat suit for a role on The Drew Carey Show: "I remember going out to eat while wearing the fat suit, and some people stared at me like I was an animal going to the trough," she says. "People can be really cruel."
On crazy diets she's tried: "When I quit smoking years ago, I did the cabbage soup diet. I went on Atkins because I was going to have foot surgery," she says. "I knew I wouldn't be able to move or work out and I was afraid of becoming huge. I remember sitting by the pool...eating a mixing bowl's worth of whipped cream with Equal in it."
Her favorite slimming-and-satisfying foods: tamari almonds, New York strip steak, Lundberg Bean & Rice Chips, sesame and tamari kale and one piece of milk chocolate a day, she says.

The dish: This two-manicotti dish is exactly what it should be -- tender shells plump with ricotta cheese, smothered in a sweet tomato sauce. Only complaint is the prep time: 10-12 minutes at medium power in the microwave. I didn't want to tie up the break-room microwave, so I cheated and cut the time to 5 minutes full-blast. The result? Slightly chewier noodles and cool cheese in the middle. But it still tasted fine; I ate the whole thing.
Will I keep it in my freezer? Yes. Compared with similar frozen entrees, the low sodium count and high protein and fiber amounts make this an excellent selection for dieters looking for a filling lunch to eat at the office.

People's Choice Awards 2006
Isaiah Washington is among the talent tapped to announce nominations for the 33rd Annual People's Choice Awards on Tuesday (Nov. 7) in Beverly Hills. The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony broadcast from The Shrine Auditorium on Tuesday, January 9 (9:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on CBS. Other actors scheduled to announce nominees include Washington’s “Grey’s Anatomy” co-star Kate Walsh, and “How I Met Your Mother” stars Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan.
